My name is David Brodsky. I have a Bachelor of Arts (4 yr program) in Psychology from York University, and I've been tutoring English classes part time under the name English Tutor Toronto since approximately 2014.

Availability & Scheduling
I am available every day between the hours of noon to 8pm for classes. Classes are scheduled based on mutual availability each time (when we both have time).
Homework Policy
I try and provide students with at least 3 hours of unique homework to complete in-between our classes. I ask that students complete this homework or spend at least 3 hours attempting it before scheduling the next class.
In-Person & Online Classes (Locations and Software)
For online classes, I use Google Meet, and I ask that students have a Gmail address for Google Docs note sharing, so that they can access class notes, and homework.
For in-person classes, there are two ideal options: study rooms at a library or your home/place of business (I work all over the Greater Toronto Area). Libraries or coffee shops near your home are also an option but not an ideal one due to noise and study room scheduling difficulties that may come up.
Group and Private Classes
Private classes: one on one private classes
2-people group classes: ask regarding availability (these are only available if the student comes with a 2nd person or if existing students agree to allow a 2nd student to join them).

Private (1 on 1) classes - $100/class (each class is approximately 1 hr) (all ages, all levels)

Paired classes - $50/class (each class is approximately 1 hour; 1 to 2 students per class; students are paired in a class based on their age, level, and what they're studying)

Small group classes - $33/class (each class is approximately 1 hour, 1 to 3 students per class; students are paired in a class based on their age, level, and what they're studying)

First meeting is free: 20 minutes - 1 hr - the focus of this meeting would be to discuss/negotiate a lesson plan

All classes are customized to a student's needs

At this time, I will offer private classes for elementary, high school, upper secondary, and specialty students (i.e. adults preparing for job interviews) (it's difficult to find two students at the same age and level, though paired class options will hopefully come available in time). I can offer paired or group classes for ESL students doing general English development

Cancellation and Rescheduling: you can stop classes at any time or reschedule classes as needed
